From time to time, we receive emails asking about some aspect of the subtitling process, so this is our attempt to answer some of the more common ones and maybe clear up a few misunderstandings. Feel free to send in any questions you have that are not covered here.

Number One:

“I just bought [INSERT TITLE] on DVD and it has no subtitles on it. Can you write some for me? How much will it cost?”

This really is something that comes up quite often, so we’re guessing most people still don’t really know how DVDs are produced. We’ll do our best to explain the situation. Read more...
